Italian "S" cookies

10 cups flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
6 T. Baking powder
The peel of 1 small orange
1 stick butter, room temp.
1 cup vegetable oil
4 T. Vanilla
6 eggs, room temp., whisked
1 1/2 cups orange juice
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and orange peel in a large bowl. Add the butter and mix with your hands until small balls (pea-size) appear. Add the oil, vanilla and eggs and mix dough until completely blended. Add enough orange juice so that the dough is stiff and not too wet. Knead dough until flour is completely incorporated. Run through a meat grinder with a star tip. Each cookie should be about 4" long. Twist the dough making it into an "S" shape. Bake at 375* for at least 20 minutes, until slightly light brown.
